Softcore Beauty Ritual
A pearlescent K-beauty design system for skincare routine builders, product shelves, and glow trackers. Frosted glass panels float in rising steam, iridescent surfaces shift pink-blue-violet on hover, and every shadow glows lavender. Typography: Belleza (display) + Lexend (body) + IBM Plex Mono (data). The ONE memorable thing: real iridescent shimmer that shifts like a soap bubble.

All colors use OKLCH for perceptual uniformity. The palette is pearlescent — everything has a pink or lavender tint, even the "neutrals." | Token | Value | Role | |-------|-------|------| | `--glow-bg` | `oklch(0.96 0.02 340)` | Page background — pearlescent white-pink | | `--glow-surface` | `oklch(0.97 0.02 340 / 0.4)` | Frosted glass panel fill | | `--glow-surface-alt` | `oklch(0.95 0.03 250 / 0.3)` | Blue-shift frosted panel variant | | `--glow-text` | `oklch(0.40 0.04 330)` | Primary text — warm dark, never pure black | | `--glow-text-soft` | `oklch(0.60 0.04 320)` | Secondary text — descriptions, meta | | `--glow-pink` | `oklch(0.88 0.09 350)` | Primary blush accent | | `--glow-lavender` | `oklch(0.85 0.07 300)` | Secondary purple — brand labels, overlines | | `--glow-mint` | `oklch(0.90 0.05 170)` | Cool accent — safe ingredients, sparing use | | `--glow-iridescent-a` | `oklch(0.94 0.05 350)` | Iridescent pink stop | | `--glow-iridescent-b` | `oklch(0.93 0.05 200)` | Iridescent blue stop | | `--glow-iridescent-c` | `oklch(0.94 0.05 300)` | Iridescent violet stop | | `--glow-shadow` | `oklch(0.88 0.10 340 / 0.3)` | Pink glow shadow — no grays ever | ### Shadow System All shadows are pink/lavender glow. Standard: `box-shadow: 0 8px 40px var(--glow-shadow), 0 0 80px oklch(0.90 0.06 300 / 0.15)`. These are bathroom lighting through steam, not structural elevation. ### Body Filter Apply `filter: saturate(0.82) brightness(1.08)` on body for a dewy overexposed feel — like a selfie with the beauty filter on. ---

Design Skill
**Audience:** Gen Z women 18–28 who document skincare routines on TikTok, know the difference between niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, own 15+ products, follow Hyram and Doctorly, practice the Korean 7-step routine. **Use cases:** Skincare routine builders, product shelf trackers, ingredient checkers, skin diary logs, glow progress trackers, K-beauty product discovery pages, beauty community apps. **Brand personality:** Pearlescent, dewy, dreamcore. This is K-beauty ritual as sensory experience — everything shimmers, glows through steam, and feels like opening a luxury skincare app in a warm bathroom. Soft but never clinical. ---
